For yahoo u should be very careful, bcoz yahoo loves keyword stuffing and good content and lots of backlinks.

For me it is the opposite. I have several first page result for high competition keyword phrases for yahoo. The thing i notice is that yahoo love backlinks. The more the better, also your title, description meta tags and Url are very important for yahoo. That’s my experience with my sites.
If you really care about Yahoo, I would recommend having seperate websites and optimizing some for Yahoo and the others for Google.
